CellPoint Mobile will integrate its leading payment platform Velocity with Sunrise Airways’ existing passenger service system to manage all digital payment transactions and accelerate the roll-out of new and relevant payment methods in all of the carrier’s markets.
This deployment will enable Sunrise Airways to seamlessly streamline the path to purchase across all their direct digital channels, both online and mobile. The new payment solution will increase conversions and maximize revenue per digital customer, facilitating, for example, the cross-selling of ancillaries.
“CellPoint Mobile’s digital payment platform gives us a future-proof solution that allows our airline to better cater to passenger demands as we expand our regional network and begin offering more value-added services,” says Philippe Bayard, President of Sunrise Airways. “We are very excited to take our payment processes to the next level, creating better experiences for our passengers and helping to grow our top-line revenue.”
CellPoint Mobile’s digital payment platform, Velocity, dynamically optimizes payments in all direct channels, and allows airlines like Sunrise to accelerate their deployment of new payment methods. For Sunrise Airways, CellPoint Mobile will also deliver highly intuitive hosted payment pages optimized for both web and mobile web, ensuring a frictionless experience in all digital channels.
“We are pleased to partner with Sunrise Airways to provide this innovative regional carrier with an effective payment solution that will be instrumental to achieving their long-term digital commerce ambitions,” said James Schildknecht, Director of Business Development for Airlines and Hospitality at CellPoint Mobile. “Our highly scalable solution coupled with our leading payment eco-system of more than 200 payment partners enables a fast roll-out of new payment services and will be a key driver to boost Sunrise’s digital transactions.”
Velocity, CellPoint Mobile’s payment-side solution being implemented by Sunrise Airways, is a full payment platform that integrates seamlessly with travel merchants’ existing systems. It is a unique payment gateway that enables immediate access to multiple payment service providers (PSPs), acquirers, global consumer wallets and alternative payment methods (APMs), and provides advanced payment capabilities like card vault, pay by link and advanced fraud monitoring. Velocity’s intelligent routing module can also optimize the route of each payment transaction to maximize acceptance rates and minimize the cost of cross-border transactions.
