Kristian Gjerding Founder and CEO
As CEO of Cellpoint Mobile, Mr. Gjerding has been responsible for heading up the company’s groundbreaking Mobile Enterprise Framework (MEF) which allows businesses to quickly and efficiently mobilize business processes and services. One of two founders of Cellpoint Mobile, Mr. Gjerding’s leadership is a direct result of his depth of experience in the mainframe and mobile industries. Under Mr. Gjerding’s guidance, Cellpoint Mobile has also developed a suite of turnkey products enabling brands to engage in customer interaction, acquisition, and retention programs and to utilize mobile phones for conducting payment transactions. Mr. Gjerding has been instrumental in Cellpoint’s ability to offer new and emerging brands the opportunity to create a focused mobile-based dialogue with their consumers. Cellpoint Mobile has helped numerous blue-chip brands interact and grow their customer base, improving cost optimization in their own back-end infrastructure.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Gjerding was working in the world’s largest mobile markets as a senior executive at Cellpoint Connect. He was instrumental in growing the company’s mobile unit, Cellpoint Mobile, which became an independent entity in 2006. Mr. Gjerding was also the visionary behind Orion Information Services, and as founder, he raised the startup’s four million (USD) in seed funding in 2002. During his tenure with Orion, he was responsible for managing the company and establishing Orion’s US operations. Mr. Gjerding sold Orion in 2005.
Mr. Gjerding spent over twenty years in the mainframe business. His vast experience building divisions and companies in the technology and wireless industries includes several years on assignments in Hong Kong, the US, and the UK, with companies that include StorageTek, Sun Microsystems, Amdahl and Network Appliance. His international experience includes leading sales and business development efforts and cultivating senior relationships.
Frequently invited to speak about his experiences building startups and working within the emerging mobile industry, Mr. Gjerding has led discussions at many national and international venues.

Jeena J. Choi - Media Consultant
Jeena Choi is media consultant to Cellpoint Mobile, overseeing the company’s communications strategy and execution including marketing and public relations activities. Ms. Choi brings a diverse set of experiences, having worked in technology, consumer electronics, medical, and consumer package goods industries, allowing her to draw a deep knowledge base to help meet communications challenges.
Ms. Choi leads teams on a range of projects that run the communications gamut, including: launching companies and products, strategies to generate awareness in the face of competitive pressures, creating events that reach influencers and creating integrated marketing programs that drive business.
Prior to joining Cellpoint Mobile, Ms. Choi’s served as an account director at Fleishman-Hillard, an international public relations firm, where she managed and counseled a variety of accounts, including multi-national technology and global beauty brand. Previously, she was at Porter-Novelli, a global PR consultancy, where she was instrumental in leading HP’s entry into the consumer electronics industry.
Ms. Choi also held key positions at Sony Electronics and Samsung Electronics where her role involved the creation and successful execution of innovative, cost effective PR programs that promoted the companies and positioned the brands in best possible light.

John A. Zachman - Advisor
John A. Zachman is the originator of the "Framework for Enterprise Architecture," a widely accepted integrative framework of descriptive representations for enterprises. Mr. Zachman worked for IBM for twenty-six years, and is known for his early contributions to the company’s Information Strategy methodology and the company’s executive team planning techniques. He retired from IBM in 1990.
Today, Mr. Zachman is the CEO of Zachman International, his own education and consulting business; Chairman of the Board of the worldwide consortium, Zachman Framework Associates; and CEO of the Zachman Institute for Framework Advancement (ZIFA), an organization dedicated to advancing the use and implementation of state-of-the-art enterprise architecture. Mr. Zachman serves on the Executive Council for Information Management and Technology (ECIMT) of the United States Government Accountability Office (GAO), and is a Fellow for the College of Business Administration at the University of North Texas. He serves on the Advisory Board for the Data Resource Management Program at the University of Washington and on the Advisory Board of the Data Administration Management Association International (DAMA-I).
Mr. Zachman has been focusing on Enterprise Architecture since 1970 and has written extensively on the subject. He is the author of The Zachman Framework for Enterprise Architecture: A Primer on Enterprise Engineering and Manufacturing. As a speaker, teacher and consultant, Mr. Zachman is internationally recognized. He has facilitated innumerable executive team planning sessions and spoken to many thousands of enterprise managers and information professionals on every continent.
Mr. Zachman served as a line officer in the United States Navy and is a retired commander in the United States Navy Reserve. He holds a degree in chemistry from Northwestern University, and has taught at Tufts University. Additionally, he has served on the Board of Councilors for the School of Library and Information Management at the University of Southern California, was a Special Advisor to the School of Library and Information Management at Emporia State University, and was on the Advisory Council to the School of Library and Information Management at Dominican University.

Brent Hill - Advisor
Brent Hill holds an MBA and a BS in accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After receiving his MBA, Mr. Hill worked as a financial management specialist and was an assistant executive director of finance in the healthcare industry. Over the last sixteen years, he has held a number of key financial positions in several American companies, ranging from controller to CFO/VP Finance. For seven years, he worked in the financial sector, handling electronic/paper transaction and bank-on-bank account management for Skylight Finance, Compass Bank and the US Federal Reserve.
In addition to his experience in financial services, Mr. Hill has worked in the telecommunications, transportation, real estate, and defense industries. Most recently, he worked as a financial consultant established in Paris and London. Mr. Hill has accompanied over thirty mergers and acquisitions, as well as multiple launches on the New York Stock Exchange.
Mr. Hill’s many responsibilities in the field of finance include the development of financial policies and procedures; reporting and analysis; and the development and implementation of computer-based accounting systems. He has also advised senior management on strategic issues relating to market flotation, acquisitions and equity investments.

Richard DeWitt - Legal Counsel
Richard DeWitt provides business and legal counsel to companies, entrepreneurs, and technology and telecommunications firms. He also serves as an arbitrator and mediator in civil and commercial disputes and is a Florida Supreme Court Certificated Arbitrator, a Certified Civil Circuit Mediator, and a member of both the American Arbitration Association's National Roster of Neutrals and Mediators and the National Arbitration Forum's Panel of Neutrals.
Mr. DeWitt began legal practice in 1979 with the Florida firm of Shutts & Bowen. In 1982, he joined the Miami office of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, where he began advising clients on business and regulatory issues resulting from the deregulation of the telecommunications industry. In 1988, Mr. DeWitt became Executive Vice President of Business Development, General Counsel and a principal of Tele-America Communications, which grew to be the largest competitive public telephone company in US. In 1991, Tele-America was sold and Mr. DeWitt founded Quest Telecom. As President and CEO, he grew Quest into a national provider of retail and wholesale-prepaid telecommunications services.
Mr. DeWitt helped chart the competitive telecommunication industry’s future development as it emerged from deregulation. He served as Chairman of both the American Public Communications Council and the Prepaid Communications Association (now the International Prepaid Communications Association) and on the Boards of the North American Telecommunications Association and other state telecommunications associations.
Mr. DeWitt has published numerous articles in business and trade journals and is frequently invited to speak on issues concerning the telecommunications industry. He received his Juris Doctor degree (cum laude) from the University of Miami, School of Law, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida International University. His professional activities include the American Bar Association, Florida Bar, Dade County Bar Association and the Coral Gables Bar Association, the Association for Conflict Resolution, and the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators. Mr. DeWitt is a Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators.
