mRetail
The mRetail mobile product suite is comprised of feature rich applications meant to attract, engage and retain customers while shopping in-store or out of the store. mRetail is comprised of: mAssociate, mCoupon, mLocate, mLookup, mPay, mRewards and mSocial. Some of the feature functions that drive mRetail include advanced features such as 2D barcode scanning, product lookup and location, store locator, NFC / 2-D barcode payment options as well as one-touch social media integration enabling shoppers the ability to shop socially. With mRetail, retailers can bring the full power of mobile shopping and payment to their customers quickly and easily. mRetail is delivered as a mobile web application, a native OS application or both. 

 

Why mRetail?

When we examine the current landscape of mobile shopping services, we are inundated with solutions which are content heavy, non-optimized and not contextually sensitive. These solutions are developed with a vision of catering one to many – as opposed to one to one.

Retailers are scrambling to finds ways to develop one-to-one relationships with customers through behavioral measurement tactics to better understand shopping behavior, whether in-store or outside the 4-walls. Maintaining targeted and consistent communication with shoppers are key elements in making sure a retailers message is personal and relevant delivering the right content, right offer and through the right outlet.

CPM’s response to this dilemma is the launch of mRetail. mRetail will enable retailers to target customers on demand while enhancing the in-store shopping experience. mRetail integrates directly with a retailers store systems to provide a robust mobile shopping experience which includes connectivity to existing product database, payment processor and loyalty programs to mobile-enable customers in-store. This in turn provides one single access point through a retailers CRM environment as opposed to having to work with multiple silo’d systems by different vendors.

The mAssociate application has been developed to enable customer service and loyalty at every level.

Both store employee’s and customers will have the ability to communicate with one another via their mobile devices at any location in-store creating an environment for retailers to respond more quickly to customer demands and questions.

mCommunicate

mCommunicate
The mCommunicate module provides simple 2-way SMS/MMS communications for many scenarios.
A simple web interface configures SMS/MMS broadcast messages using your database of mobile numbers. Messages can be sent on a schedule, by region, zip code, area code, or other configurable attributes. In-bound SMS/MMS messages can be analysed for content and packaged into various data formats for delivery to customer service applications, email messages, or even SNMP alerts for triggering business processses within your organization. mCommunicate can operate standalone and managed via its web control panel, or interfaced directly into your application environment.

mCoupon

The mCoupon application enables mobile devices to receive coupons which can be scanned at a point of sale or redeemed online using discount codes. mCoupon supports a variety of coupon related functionality including 1D/2D barcode scan, 1D/2D barcode read, SMS/MMS/email request and delivery.
mCoupon
The mCoupon module enables retailers to create and push scheduled marketing campaigns to mobile users who have opted-in for the service.  Using CPM’s Coupon Creator Dashboard, retail personnel can configure text message, multimedia message, or mobile web delivery of a coupon to registered mobile customers. mCoupon provides retailers with statistics that are reported directly in the dashboard for quick and easy review of the take up rate of any particular campaign message or a group of messages. Coupons can be targeted to specific regions, stores, zip codes, area codes, groups or even individual users based on business rules and/or triggers from an external CRM and marketing environment.

mLocate

The mLocate application enables customers via mobile web or SMS text message to request the location and contact details of the nearest store based upon auto-geolocation, zip code, or street/city/state. mLocate can accept a variety of inputs for store locations beyond a zip code, street name, city, state or no input at all. mLocate will geo-locate based upon a users mobile number and carrier information to return a best guess of the customers location and nearest stores.

mLookup

mLookup
The mLookup application targets customers where it’s needed the most, in-store where they are likely to buy. mLookup delivers detailed product information based on specific store locations. As customers are browsing the aisles of a retailer they may simply scan a barcode at the product point to get more information on that product. mLookup seamlessly integrates with retailers existing product catalog providing an immediate way to record scanning history as well as buying habits and may use geo-location triggers such as local inventory checks, nearest store with product in stock and ‘find me in-store’ abilities. mLookup is compatible with 2D and 3D barcode scans plus SMS text message requests. mLookup may also integrate with mCoupon to deliver customized deals in real-time, messages and offers based on store-location.

mPay

The mPay application turns customers phone into a digital wallet enabling secure purchases and coupon redemption’s in the palm of customers hands.
mPay
mPay can facilitate secure proximity based payments via an on-screen 2D barcode or using their contactless device to action a payment at the point-of-sale.
The mPay application will automatically apply any saved coupons wirelessly as well as save in-store scans, product lookup’s and transactions to a customers profile. If customers are outside a retailers 4-walls, the same technology applies enabling customers to shop, apply coupons and securely pay using their mobile device. mPay will provide customers a means to easily manage transactions, coupons and payments from outside or inside the store and provides retailers with a means to capture valuable information on customer behavior driving future marketing campaign decisions.

mRewards

mRewards
The mRewards application allows subscribed users to accumulate points which can be used to receive special offers, part of a multi-tender payment or other loyalty driven features a retailer wishes to implement. As with all mRetail products, mRewards can interface with other mRetail applications to bring enhanced functionality to both mobile customers and online customers. mRewards can be interfaced to existing CRM and points-based loyalty programs. When coupled with the mPay product line, loyalty points can be used as a form of payment. mRewards can interface to the mCoupon application to deliver personalized coupons, special offers, customer messages, and other communications with the customer based upon loyalty program status, previous purchase history or other defined business rules

mSocial

mSocial allows retailers to track comments, feedback and other shopping indicators that can help shape product and marketing strategies. mSocial enables retailers to link in-store social network activities through customers mobile devices into their existing CRM software platform.

Through deep, one-touch integration in to a retailers mobile web application, shoppers may experience the following functions of mSocial creating a true in-store shopping “experience”:

Facebook JumpStart – Provides a one-touch access point to a retailers facebook page in turn allowing shoppers to post comments on their wall and news feeds about their shopping experience. In addition, retailers may use this as an opportunity to present facebook marketing messages to customer.
Twitter Jumpstart – Similarly, this icon will allow shoppers faster access to their twitter feed with ability to update current status and location without leaving the browser or retail application environment.
What’s hot – This feature will aggregate a list of the most popular products, chatter, images, videos uploaded through all major SM networks on a retailers brand.
SnapMe – is an in-app photo offering that ties into shoppers smartphone camera enabling them to snap a picture in real-time of a product they are interested in purchasing. Shoppers are then prompted to post to their facebook or twitter page to receive input and feedback from family and friends to assist with purchase decision.
