Mobile Enterprise Framework
 Cellpoint Mobile’s MEF is an architectural framework and operational platform that enables enterprises to develop and operate mobile services. The MEF hosts mobile web sites, native OS application back-end’s, and provides a wide variety of SMS/MMS messaging capabilities and carrier integration capabilities to provide organzations a complete mobile services platform. The MEF also seamlessly integrates mobile technology into existing enterprise backend systems, including legacy business applications. The MEF creates a communication and management layer that enables businesses to control the mobile channel within a Multi-Channel Access Gateway (MAG).
Based on established protocols and processes, the MEF ensures that IT departments can reuse existing security policies and interfacing methods to control the data flow to and from the mobile channel. All communication with the mobile channel is routed through the Mobile Enterprise Service Bus, which audits connections based on the security policies defined in standard Enterprise Security Managers. The framework also fully supports SOA architectures such as SAP SOA and IBM® SOA for z/OS®. The framework itself and the individual components are all designed to extend mainframe and open systems environments into the mobile space, enhancing the data management solutions already in place. Because the MEF reuses existing investments, enterprises can efficiently deliver business processes and services to mobile devices almost instantaneously
Mobile GatewayGoMobile and mWeb are powerful, functionally rich, robust and scalable bi-directional communication gateways through which clients have access to a range of message types including: SMS (incl. Binary SMS), MMS, Push Notification (such as Apple), E-Mail, IP Based Messaging, and fully device agnostic mobile web. Through GoMobile, clients can communicate with end-users through redundant carrier and internet connections to satisfy any type of connectivity requirements. SureMsgTrackUsing our patent-pending technology, SureMsgTrack monitors all communications and messages to mobile devices through operator networks and the internet. SureMsgTrack can automatically resend or reroute through alternate connections and channels as required to ensure 100% reliability for all types of mobile communications. Additionally, SureMsgTrack may be used to monitor mobile-web and SMS-delivered hyperlinks to ensure they are activated within a specified period of time. Messages and communications can be automatically resent or rerouted based on the rules configured for the individual message or message type. SureMsgTrack integrates with standard monitoring and support systems to provide complete transparency of the mobile channel. Device OrchestratorThe MEF’s Device Orchestrator provides automatic optimization for all mobile web based application and includes a complete device repository containing detailed information about the capabilities of thousands of devices. The device repository is capable of automatically detecting new devices and adding their characteristics to the database. Additionally the Device Orchestrator offers application life-cycle management capabilities for Mobile Apps. Auditing, Billing and StatisticsAn important part of controlling transactions in the mobile channel is transparency. FIONA is an advanced billing and statistical system that provides users with detailed billing statements, transaction statistics and reporting. FIONA promises high availability ensuring that transaction reporting is always available so audit trails may be established as needed. Additionally data is optionally exposed in a structured format for further analysis or invoicing or exported to other finance systems through the MESB’s data connectors thereby providing complete transaction transparency.
